These images are captured in-camera with one exposure, without any use of digital filters or other means of digital manipulations.
The technique that I use offers a very "impressionistic" quality to the scenes. I also think this technique strips down the scene of its details that may get in the way of experiencing the true mood of that particular moment due to our natural fixation to make sense of what we see. This presentation challenges the viewer to rethink the idea of how the camera can be used to obtain a different way of seeing.
The photos are printed on aluminum. The dyes have been baked into the metal itself to give it a saturated and luminescent display that seemingly glow.
